A big slam to inject some life in the Atlanta arena, and then two tip slams in the third quarter tilted the balance of Game 4 in favor of the home side. The hero of the night was John Collins and his 14 points. Trae Young scored a team high 25 points, followed by Bogdan Bogdanovic who had 22. Embiid had a chance to take the lead with under 10 seconds to go, but missed a lay up attempt in traffic to hand the game to the Hawks. There were three ties and six lead changes in the final quarter. Momentum shifted in an instant, and the Hawks clawed their way back into the ball game, taking the lead in the opening possession of the fourth quarter. The Sixers were still in control of the game and up by ten mid way through the third quarter until John Collins brought Atlanta back to life with a vicious tip slam. Joel Embiid came back in the second quarter and looked good, but the halftime break looked to have allowed him to tense up, and he went scoreless from the field in the second half. John Collins the highlight reel game changer In that span Atlanta made a little run, but Embiid came back to action and sparked a 17-3 run.Ītlanta shot just 33% from the field in the first two quarters, and allowed the 76ers to stretch out to an 18 point lead.
